Unlike many Barossa reds, 'Joshua' is unoaked, allowing the bright fruit character to shine through, with the Grenache contributing red fruit and floral aromas, the Mataro adding earthy depth, and the Shiraz providing structure and spice. The 2006 vintage was marked by ideal growing conditions, resulting in wines with excellent balance and concentration. Presented in a magnum (1.5L), this format allows for graceful aging, enhancing the wine’s complexity over time.

The absence of oak gives the wine a pure, fruit-driven character, with soft, fine-grained tannins and a refreshing acidity providing lift and balance.

Finish: Long, bright, and clean, with lingering red fruit, a hint of spice, and a delicate floral finish that leaves a refreshing, satisfying impression.
