Our "Sharkstooth" print is actually a variation on "asanoha," a traditional Japanese pattern named for hemp leaves dating from the Heian period (794-1185). Used as a symbol of strength and growth (because of hemp's toughness and fast growing speed), we find it a perfect print for modern times.

CARE INSTRUCTIONS:

• For the greatest longevity of this garment we suggest a gentle cold wash, then hang dry, or have the item dry cleaned.  (Although I personally throw it in the wash on warm/cold then hang dry. –J.)
