A great family game of strategy & logic.
Classic version of the traditional board game Snakes and Ladders. Played by two to four people, each player starts in the lower left corner and must move up the grid to the finish square at the top left. Players take turns rolling the dice and move the number of squares indicated in a race to finish. However, if a player finishes his turn on a snake, he has to follow it on the grid and lose some progress. Similarly, if a player falls on a ladder, he follows it on the grid and makes a win. The first player at the finish wins.
The history of snakes and ladders can be traced back to ancient India, where it was known as Mokshapat or Moksha Patamu. Some people think it was invented by Hindi spiritual leaders, although this is unclear. An absolute classic!
A great game to entice children offline and learn to ply the strategic board game. A stimulating hobby and a great game of strategy & logic for children and adults alike.
