Casual button down shirt, made for sporting, hunting, chopping wood or lounging. Hand brushed, 7. 5 oz cotton, made to get better with time... and it DOES! Burgundy & Plum were added to the Chamois Cloth collection in 1975, becoming highly popular. Rich color, mildly broken in, velvety soft.

There is no doubt of the difference in quality of today's LL Bean flannels compared to pre 90s. You can tell the difference the moment you hold it in your hands, and then the second you remove it from the wash. The newer shirts just do not have the longevity, with inconsistent cuts, a tendency to quickly pill and an ever present need to iron. You wont find that in this shirt.
