Adorable field of flowers polyester knit maxi dress, hand sewn in the early 70s (no tags). The fabric looks to be a middle weight synthetic with a pretty sheen! A plethora of white posies with green centers are strewn across a red background. The bodice has a round neck edged in self piping. The piping also trims the contour empire waistline. Short puff sleeves end in cased elastic. Dress is quite fitted and snug to the waist, where it flares out a bit to a maxi or midi length hem, depending on your height. Lined, except the sleeves. 20" invisible zipper in back and hook and eye. Dress does have some issues (all in last photo) : I sewed a daisy patch over a hole at low hip area. There is an orange stain on the side near the patch. Also scuffed spots, not holes, see photo. It's a very busy print, so its hard to see, but I want you to be aware. Also the lining has a hole which I patched, can't see on the outside. Sweet and mod flower power 70s dress has an early Betsey Johnson vibe to it!
