Systematic Synthetic Phonics Workshop  - ACT, Wednesday the 18th of NOVEMBER, 2026

During this one-day workshop you will:

• Receive your Free SOR Toolkit of your choice (Classroom Kit) to use in the sessions. 
• Learn the Science of Reading and the Science of Learning, and key aspects you need to know to teach reading and spelling effectively
• Learn evidence-based learning strategies that provide best practise for beginner readers, setting them up for success
• Learn how to implement a successful Phonics Program that uses Responsive Teaching strategies for differentiation
• Learn the key activities and routines that lead to reading and writing success
• Learn what decodable readers are and how to use these readers effectively
• Learn pedagogical approaches that are more effective than tradition 'literacy rotations/guided reading'
