The Teranex Mini SDI to HDMI 8K converter offers an advanced 8K monitoring solution for large screen TVs, video projectors, and DisplayPort monitors. Going beyond the ability of a basic converter, the Teranex Mini 8K HDR can use third party calibration probes to align connected displays for accurate and precise color. Two on-screen scopes can be selected between WFM, Parade, Vector, and Histogram. A single clip can drive one 8K display or four separate Ultra HD displays, making the converter excellent with digital signage. The SDI to HDMI 8K converter is an ideal solution to run large projectors and local displays while keeping color accurate.

All Quad Link 12G-SDI inputs have outputs for looping to other equipment. Single link HD, Ultra HD and quad link 8K standards are also supported for broadcast or film industry use. Quad Link 12G-SDI is used when working in full resolution 8K, but the converter can also switch to HD, Ultra HD, 2K DCI and 4K DCI formats. If a monitor in use can’t handle the resolution, it is automatically down converted for display, ensuring images are always on display regardless of the SDI standard. HDMI instant lock instantly locks the HDMI display if input video is interrupted. Control the converter remotely with Ethernet or included software utility for Mac or Windows. That software utility also updates the converter, ensuring it keeps up with video standards and features.

Get large and color accurate SDI monitoring in any broadcast, live production or feature film work with the SDI to HDMI 8K converter. You can unload CPU and GPU processing, since the converter draws the 3D LUTs and scopes itself, making it excellent with accurate grading monitoring for DaVinci Resolve. This is particularly important with heavy 8K formats. The converter works well with large TVs for multi view on switchers, keeping each view large enough to check focus. Down conversion means 8K sources can be used on Ultra HD or HD TVs and monitors, and it is possible to automatically convert between 2SI and Square Division. Also included are AC power, analog audio HiFi out, and USB connection on the front panel. Four HDMI outputs allow the converter to be used with 8K TVs featuring quad HDMI inputs.
