Weld (Reseda luteola) Extract produces an excellent light- and washfast yellow. It yields a strong, clear yellow on its own and combines beautifully with indigo to create brilliant emeralds and leafy greens. Known historically as Dyer’s Weld, Dyer’s Rocket, or Dyer’s Mignonette, weld has been prized by dyers across Europe for centuries.

This professional-grade extract is grown and processed in Europe and approved as a dyestuff under the Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS). Highly concentrated, a little goes a long way, making it an economical choice for both fabric dyeing and print pastes (ideal for screen printing).

Shading Tips

• Multiple dips produce softer yellow hues.
