Early 18th Century French trestle table handcrafted of mélèze wood by talented artisans near Strasbourg for a hunting lodge in the Alsace region of France, circa 1720s. This wonderfully rustic table with its centuries old patina has a plank top with rounded and notched corners resting on canted trestle legs connected by the original forged iron stretcher. Comfortably seats 12, making it suitable as a dining or conference table. Sturdy timbers able to withstand daily use for another century.
