The carefully architected jacket on this handsome vintage skirt suit from Louis Feraud has a unique, diagonal yoke. It also has small shoulder pads and two besom pockets that still retain tailor's tacks. The pencil skirt has a hidden back zipper and walking vent. The fine quality fabric has a white pinstripe a very subtle felted finish. It's primarily wool blended with angora (30%) and cashmere (10%). The color looks almost like charcoal gray, but it's actually a muted eggplant with brighter eggplant-colored linings. Both pieces are labeled French size 40 which usually corresponds to a US size 8.
