Holland's Wooden Shoes took the diamond in 1910, competing in the Michigan State League when small town baseball was almost sacred. Named for the Dutch heritage that built Holland, Michigan, the club carried a community's identity into every game. Some teams represented a city, but the Wooden Shoes represented a culture.
Part of our Defunct Baseball collection, inspired by the vintage Minor League teams of yesteryear.
