An open edition print of my original illustration 'Jacob's Ladder'. A beautiful rare native plant in the British Isles- named due to it’s pairs of opposing leaves, with pretty bluish-purple flowers. It grows in very few areas of the United Kingdom, including the Peak District and is the county flower of Derbyshire!
Originally hand painted with watercolour and ink, and edited together to create a poster. I have painted it in slightly pastel tones, whereas the plant is deeper purple in reality, I wanted it to have a softer look.

Professionally printed in my home studio with lucia pro pigment inks, onto beautiful archival Bockingford inkjet paper 190gsm. This is a lovely high quality paper, with a very subtle surface texture. The print is archival, and will last for many, many years to come!
The print will be signed, titled and dated on the back only - as to not detract from the text (if you'd like it signing on the front too please send a message with your order)
