Burlington Garden 1819 opens with an enthusiastic grapefruit note, which eventually mellows down onto a base of cashmere wood and tobacco. The spicy kick that rum creates is enough to add dynamism and charisma to this otherwise citrus-dominant perfume. Vanilla and labdanum create the amber appeal of the perfume, and the freshly animalic touches of ambergris and musk tie in everything together in the end.
