A superb antique malachite and fresh silver buckle bracelet. Created in Continental Europe in the late 19th to early 20th century. This striking piece features rectangular panels of natural banded malachite, each set into scalloped silver mounts, displaying the stone’s characteristic concentric greens and rich colour contrast.

The front buckle clasp, complete with pin and loop, is finely decorated with hand engraved foliate scrolls and subtle repoussé work—an excellent example of skilled silversmithing from the period. The bracelet fastens securely and has a pleasing, substantial weight of ver 57 grams, giving it strong presence on the wrist while remaining fully wearable.

Light age wear, including minor edge chips to the malachite, is consistent with its age and does not detract from its beauty or structural integrity. A rare and collectible example of fine Continental silverwork, marrying bold design with quality craftsmanship.
