The TDP1000 is the 1 GHz model in the family with the TekVPI probe interface, delivering ≤350 ps rise time and supporting selectable bandwidth-limiting filters of 100 Hz, 10 kHz, 1 MHz, and Full. Its differential input offset range is ±42 V at both 5X and 50X attenuation.

The TekVPI models (TDP1000, TDP0500) add AutoZero to zero out output offset and provide scope-displayed probe menu access for setup control and operating status, and offer Japanese (Opt. L5) and Simplified Chinese (Opt. L7) manual options.

Bandwidth is the primary differentiator: the TDP1000 and P6251 are 1 GHz probes with ≤350 ps rise time, while the TDP0500 is a 500 MHz probe with under 700 ps rise time. The TDP1000 and TDP0500 use the TekVPI probe interface; the P6251 uses the TekProbe-BNC Level II interface and connects to TekConnect oscilloscopes through a TCA-BNC adapter.
