An antique Edwardian half-hoop engagement ring set with five round-cut diamonds of coordinating colour and clarity that graduate in size towards the middle. The diamonds are secured in platinum claw-settings and amount to a combined weight of 0.46 carats, the largest or principal diamond weighing 0.18 carats. This is a simple and elegant ring, with a beautiful silhouette. It is finished with a tapered 18ct yellow gold band and is circa 1900.
