The Fluke VR1710 is a single-phase, plug-in voltage quality recorder built to detect and record voltage quality problems. It plugs directly into a mains power socket and records, providing an easy-to-use solution that supports immediate action and less downtime. It records voltage quality parameters including RMS average, transients, flicker, and harmonics up to the 32nd, using a user-selected average period.
A voltage quality recorder monitors the characteristics of an electrical supply over time, capturing how voltage behaves and where it falls outside acceptable tolerances. The VR1710 supports four core application areas: voltage recording (monitoring and recording supply voltage, measuring RMS average, minimum and maximum values, and checking whether the socket outlet provides voltage within tolerance); distortion measurement (measuring frequency and harmonics to check whether distorting loads such as UPS systems and drives are affecting other equipment); flicker measurement (quantifying the effects of switching loads on lighting systems); and capturing voltage transients (recording intermittent, momentary events with the full waveform captured along with date, timestamp, and duration).
ValueTronics stocks and holds its own inventory in a 20,000 sq ft secure warehouse at 1675 Cambridge Drive in Elgin, Illinois. Holding inventory on-site lets the team match the right instrument and condition to each customer's application with direct accountability for what leaves the building.
Fluke Corporation has operated under its own name since its founding and became a subsidiary of Danaher Corporation in 1998, where it continues to operate as the Fluke brand.
