After 8 years since their last album, PiL (PUBLIC IMAGE LTD.), led by John Lydon, has released their 11th original album, "END OF WORLD"! The new album, in which the longest and most stable lineup in the band's history put their all into it, began recording during the band's 40th anniversary tour in 2018. It was then completed through sessions that resumed after the lockdown, which were also affected by the new coronavirus pandemic. However, on April 5, 2011, John Lydon's beloved wife, Nora Forster, passed away. While there were concerns that the album's release might be postponed, the band overcame their deep sadness and decided to release this "End of World" album. The album features 13 songs, including "Hawaii," a beautiful and poignant love song dedicated by Lydon to Forster, and "Penge," which he describes as "like a medieval Viking epic. Comes in a 2-CD set on black vinyl.
