The Domaine de Boischampt winery benefits from the excellent soils in the municipality of Juliénas. These soils are characterized by volcanic bluestone and granite, which lend the wines their complexity. The microclimate in this location favors the cultivation of Chardonnay and Gamay grapes, which produce first-class wines. When the estate was acquired, it had only two appellations of origin: Juliénas and Beaujolais-Villages Rouge. However, with the acquisition of new plots, the range of Beaujolais Crus was expanded. Fleurie, Chénas, Beaujolais-Villages Blanc, and Morgon Bio were added.
