Installation & Maintenance Tips

• Placement: For the best visual effect, place the light in 3 to 10 feet of water. If the water is too deep, the light may appear dim at the surface; if too shallow, the "halo" will be small.

• Cleaning: Barnacles and algae will eventually grow on the lens. Periodically pull the light up (using the cord) and gently scrub the lens with a soft brush or sponge. Never use a metal scraper, as it will scratch the lens and reduce light output.

• Timer/Photocell: To extend the life of the LEDs and save on electricity, consider plugging the unit into a dusk-to-dawn timer so it only operates when needed.

Do you have high water clarity at your dock?
