The thinner tread reduces rolling resistance, while preserving the ideal properties for absorbing asphalt irregularities.

Tufo uses this high-performance compound in most of its road tubulars. With a hardness rating of 66 Shore (A), this blend, made of synthetic and natural rubber with active silica filler, provides excellent wet grip and low rolling resistance.
